superhosts attaches great importance to the protection and respect of your privacy. This policy aims to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of information you provide us through our platform accessible at www.superhosts.io.
Key points
Concierges' contact details are never passed to property owners unless the concierge accepts a collaboration request and indicates they wish to share their details with the owner to organise the first meeting.
All pages on the site are secured with HTTPS and navigation between pages is encrypted.
No bank card data is ever retained by superhosts, except for the last 4 digits.
superhosts does not sell or rent any information or data about its members.
After browsing listings, owners may contact selected concierges. These messages must not include any means of contacting the owner other than through the superhosts site, i.e. no phone number, URL, email or postal address.

superhosts (registered office in Paris, France), as data controller, attaches great importance to the protection and respect of your privacy. This policy aims to inform you of our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of information you provide us through our platform (the 'Platform') accessible at www.superhosts.io.
This policy describes how we process the personal data we collect and that you provide to us. We invite you to read this document carefully to understand our personal data processing practices.
Information we collect
1. Information you provide directly
When using our Platform, you may provide us with information, some of which may identify you ('Personal Data'). This is notably the case when you fill in forms (such as the registration form), contact another superhosts member, contact us by phone, email or any other means, or report a problem.
This information notably includes the following data:
- Data required for registration: first and last name, postal address, email address, mobile number, landline number, date of birth, IP address, password, professional information (for concierges: company, SIRET, professional insurance). Of this information, only your first name, last name, email address and password are mandatory.
- A photograph:

- A copy of all collaboration requests or listings published on our Platform:
- Financial or accounting transaction details: payment card information, bank details, information about collaborations booked or for which you have published a listing on our Platform

- Your reviews and ratings: your responses to our surveys and questionnaires and reviews you have left to evaluate a collaboration with another community member
- Data we may ask you to provide when you report a problem relating to our Platform or services:

2. Data we collect automatically
- Social media data: If you connect to our services using the social media features available to you, superhosts will have access to certain data (including your first name, surname, photograph, email address) from your account on that social network.
- Technical and navigation data: On each visit, we may collect information about the devices on which you use our services or the networks through which you access our services, such as your IP addresses, connection data, types and versions of internet browsers used, operating systems and platforms, data about your browsing journey on our Platform.
- Public usage data: We also collect information about your use of our Platform (such as the number of listings published, your message response rate, your registration date, your average review score, etc.) which may be displayed on your public profile.
3. Data retention period
Your data will be secured and retained for the period necessary to provide our services, and for a maximum of 3 years after your last activity, unless you request deletion via contact@superhosts.io.
How do we use your data?
We use your personal data to:
- • Perform contracts entered into between you and us and provide you with the requested information and services
- • Send you information about our services (collaboration request confirmations) by email, SMS or any other means of communication
- • Process your payments
- • Allow you to personalise your profile on our Platform
- • Allow you to communicate and interact with other community members
- • Give you access to and allow you to communicate with our member relations service
- • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and our general terms of use
- • Send you marketing, advertising and promotional messages and information about the use of our services

- • Manage our Platform and carry out internal technical operations
- • Improve and optimise our Platform
- • Allow you to use the interactive features of our services

Who receives your data?
When using our services, some of your information is shared with other community members through your public profile or as part of the connection process (for example, we share your phone number with people with whom you have accepted a collaboration).
We also work closely with third-party companies that may have access to your Personal Data, including:

- subcontractors we use for technical services and payment processing
- analytics solution providers
We only share your data with third parties in the following cases:
- When we use a service provider to perform any contract
- As part of the connection process with another member
- We publish reviews you write, visible to all visitors

We do not pass your content or information to any third-party company for resale purposes.
Message moderation
We may read messages you exchange with other community members via our Platform for the purposes of fraud prevention, service improvement, user assistance and compliance verification.
For example, to prevent members from bypassing our system, we may browse and analyse messages exchanged on our Platform to ensure they contain no contact details or references to other websites.
We never read your communications with other community members for promotional or advertising targeting purposes. Where possible, we use automated systems to moderate messages transmitted between members via our Platform.
Advertising, emails and SMS
In accordance with applicable law and with your consent where required, we may use the data you provide on our Platform for commercial prospecting purposes (for example to send you our newsletters, invitations to events or any other communication that may be of interest to you).
Regarding promotional emails: you may withdraw your consent at any time by (i) unticking the relevant box in your account, (ii) clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our communications, or (iii) contacting us at contact@superhosts.io.
Data transfers
As a general rule, we retain your Personal Data within the European Union. However, as some of our service providers are located in countries outside the European Union, we transfer some of your Personal Data to Third Countries.
